Underwater Video Camera Fishing

- underwater camera recommendation?
I asked a question like this yesterday and I only now just realized that all the cameras Ive seen are right handed. Im gonna change my question a bit from the one I made yesterday. Whats the cheapest underwater camera that I can hold with my left hand underwater(speargun in my right XD), that you would recommend happily to a friend. I would prefer a photo camera with video capabilities but a video camera would work too. I would like to take pictures of the reefs and the fish, and sometimes record a speargun shot. remember, I asked for the cheapest camera youd recommend. Since the only cameras I found to work with the left hand are those ugly video cameras, I found the GE DVI and the Kodak playsport to look nice. Something that would survive for many trips to the salty puertorican shores. there is no budget just the cheapest youd recommend to anyone... has anyone tried the GE DVI? I was very impressed with a youtube video of it in 1080p.

A There is no "left-handed" camera per se. You could hold the camera in a "portrait" position to use your left index finger or upside down to use your left thumb.

- Koi Cam???
My dear hubby has a 3,000 gallon koi pond in our back yard, and I want to get him a color underwater video camera for Father's Day - I have seen these marketed as "Koi Cam" so you can watch your fish 24/7 just by plugging a cable into your TV or computer monitor. Does anyone have one of these Koi Cams, and if so, what do you think? Would you recommend it? Also, there are lots of surveillance cameras out that film in color, are suitable for an underwater application, etc. - what brand/features do you recommend, and what price range should I expect to pay? Any advice would be MOST welcome!

A I don't have one and have never used one, but that's a cool idea. I did some checking on the internet and found a site that uses an underwater and above water video where you can watch this person's fish. It also has a link to contact them for questions about their set-up: http://www.bonniesplants.com/KoiCam.html I wouldn't recommend a general surveillance camera - these wouldn't be water proof, and would be ruined quickly if they weren't provided with some type of waterproof housing.
