- camera setting for underwater photograph?
next week i am going to phuket and do some snorkelling.i have a canon powershot A590IS and a dicapac underwater case.With dicapac case it is very difficult to turn the mode ring.So before putting it i have to select one of the modes such auto,Tv etc.Which would be better? And this is my first time in underwater and I am thinking this option: Aperture priority mode with iso800 and select the smallest aperture for fastest shutter speed.Is it good or should i try something else?
A Flash never works for me underwater. I suppose it depends on how deep you're going. If there's plenty of sunlight, you might get away with ISO 400. If you're going to the bottom, you might need to bring your own light. I have a waterproof camera, but I've never gone SCUBA diving.

I'm looking for a compact digital underwater camera to take in the pool and in the sea while on holiday. I don't mind whether it's a set or if it's a digital camera and a seperate waterproof case. but I want the whole thing to add up to no more than about £50 - £60. I have a lovely Leica compact camera but even thought I could buy a case that says it's "waterproof" it's going nowhere near any sort of water! Any ideas?
