Underwater Camera Pack Reviews - FAQ and Questions
- Sony Cyber-shot Marine Pack MPK-THD .... Any T series camera???
Hi, Hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me. I have (or had before I droped it out the bedroom window) a Sony Cybershot DSC T20. I have the Sony Cyber-shot Marine Pack MPK-THD underwater camera case. I am looking to replace my camera but am unsure as to weather this underwater case fits all T series? I would like to upgrade to the DSCT300.... Would my underwater housing still fit this model??? I'm confused!# Help! 10 points for best answer :0)
A Call Sony's help line and ask them; (800) 222-SONY They will be able to give you a list of all the cameras they make that will use your underwater camera case

- Which underwater film camera would you recommend?
minolta weathermatic or canon sure shot A1 panorama date pack. Give me details about each camera. Pro's and cons and which would give me a better picture and which has better quality.
A I guess you're talking about the Weathermatic 35DL, not the 110 pocket version, or the "Vectis" APS version. I'd go for the Canon hands down (or get something else). Bearing in mind that these are old cameras now (and their O-ring seals may well be past their prime, i.e.you're taking a minor gamble.): If you check and look after the back-door o-ring, keeping it and the o-ring groove scrupulously clean, - you should be ok. As you know both cameras let you go to 5m and the Minolta has a dual lens (35 and 50mm) set-up with the canon only one lens. However, it is a bit wider and that's a good thing. AF: Neither camera does AF underwater. The Canon lets you shoot quite close-up 45cm, giving you an image area of about a foot wide which is MUCH BETTER than the Minoltas 1.2m and thus the deal clincher. It also has a much easier to use finder with goggles on and gives you MUCH more flexibility with film speed (Minolta only offers ISO100 and 400). Also (and I have no extensive experience with either camera, just used them briefly and a long time ago), I heard that people had v. good experiences with the Canon, non-leaking wise. :)
