Underwater Camera Cable Reviews - FAQ and Questions
- I have a underwater camera, which I want to extend the cable?
My cable will reach to depths of 60 metres. I want to extend the cable to 30-400 metres and strenten the camera. It is just a twin cable wire. Does it get complicated when I start extending and does that need to be fibre optics after the cable gets so long??
A You need to talk to underwater specialists, perhaps where you bought the camera. Strikes me that the camera may not survive at those depths - check your handbook. 400 metres is 1300 feet or more - that's deep!

- Can you charge an olympus camera with the usb cable?
I have an olympus stylus 1050 sw underwater camera thingy, and I, of course, lost the charger, but managed to keep the USB cable around. Does anyone know if I can charge it through the USB cable? Ps: If you are thinking about buying this camera, don't. It sucks. If anyone has any advice about how to make it look less... sucky, please help me out... thanks!
A Probably not. You can check your manual but most cameras will not charge via USB. For your sucky pictures this is almost certainly your fault not the cameras. Read the manual and learn how to use your camera properly.
