What is better an underwater camera or a portable sonar?

A Definitely a sonar. Underwater cameras are all right but too many people try to use them to find the fish which is a bad idea. There would be holes everywhere. A sonar is great for seeing your bait or lure and seeing how the fish react to it. Sonars are also better at locating the fish and different depths in my opinion. I believe that if you were to get a camera, you should have a sonar to go along with it as you can see how fish react and what they are doing under the ice. So I would go with a sonar alone, or an underwater camera such as an Aqua Vu along with a sonar. Good luck fishin'!

ok im looking for an ice fishing camera that will work good in murky water. its not to terribly murky bit its not crystal clear like you would find in a typical lake. i want it to work well, be fairly easy to operate, and not break the bank. basically i don't want to spend more than $400. so in your opinion which is the best camera? thanks.
