Large, wide-spread controls for easy operation and no complicated menus. The Easy Setup on-screen guide ensures the camera is set correctly for great pictures on land or underwater. No more blue pictures with the Dive and Snorkel modes with underwater color booster. Let your creativity shine with the SPY mode. SPY mode lets the camera do all the work - It takes continuous pictures at set time intervals. Capture those impossible pictures when you can't get close to the subject. As easy to expand as it is to use, for breathtaking panoramic shots, add the optional wide angle lens which allows close up pictures to within 1ft / 30cm and increases the shooting angle by 33% so you can fit everything in the picture. To bring vibrant colorful pictures while diving, add the SeaLife Digital Pro Flash.
Sealife Underwater Digital Camera Reviews - FAQ and Questions
- I just bought a sealife underwater digital camera, should I buy a strobe also?
I just bought the DC800. Will it take good photos underwater without a flash or strobe. The strobes cost around $300 so I don't want to buy one unless its really needed. Thanks.
A It depends on where you take pictures. Shallow or deep. The deeper you go the less light, also the clarity of the water plays a big part of it as well. Large strobes light up particulate matter more than smaller flashes. From the specs. it looks like a nice camera. Also remember that strobes make the camera more bulky to carry around as well. I would try it out first before spending more money. 90-95% of divers who take pictures don't use Strobes. Although the best pictures taken are often with strobes.

- I just bought a scuba SeaLife DC800 underwater digital camera, but don't know what kind of memory card to use?
Is there a certain brand that works better? Any other info would be greatly appreciated since this is my first underwater camera. Thanks.
A Read your manual, it will tell you. First of all the format must be right, secondly there could be a limit as to size - not all cameras can handle really big cards. I doubt the brand would matter. The speed would only matter if you can (and will) take lots of photos in burst (continuous shooting) mode.
