- is there any way that i can take my Nikon camera underwater?
i really want to be able to take underwater photos but the only underwater housing device i found was like 2,000 dollars! does anyone know of a cheap protection device i can use for my nikon?!
A If you are talking about shallow water, like snorkeling or just wading around, one of the Ewa bags will probably be enough. Even then, you may end up with a dead camera. If you are talking about actually diving with the camera, you'll have to spend the money on a full case and ports and all that stuff. It ain't cheap. You could also look for a comparatively inexpensive digital camera that is made for the purpose. Most are still limited to maybe 30 feet, but you don't risk your DSLR that way.
