Top 3 Olympus Underwater Cameras
There are very few companies that have a digital underwater camera line solely based on having the ability to go below the water and take pictures of marine life, or just pictures of your children swimming underwater. Olympus has a plethora of underwater cameras and these are considered the best ones for business or personal.
The Olympus Stylus 770 SW, which costs around $400, is not only a waterproof camera, it is also shock proof. It weight 5.5 ounces and has 7.1 MP, which is not bad for an underwater digital camera. While in swimming pools, the 770 SW takes magnificent shots, and doesn't leave much to the imagination when it comes to clarity. But when it comes to open waters, the 770 SW can be much better. Some of the pictures come out hazy and it is hard to zoom.
The Olympus Stylus Tough 6000. The Stylus Tough 6000 has 10 MP, a 5X optical zoom, which is great when you want to get closer to the sharks when you wanna take a picture, and it also has 20 different "scene" modes, which include Fireworks, night scene, snow and 3 underwater scenes. The Tough in its name is not just the series its in. The Tough 6000 is not only waterproof and shock proof, but also freezeproof, crushproof and shakeproof.
Of all the Olympus underwater digital cameras, the Olympus Stylus Tough 8000, would be the highest rated. Just like the 6000, the Tough 8000 has a 5X digital zoom, also protected against freezing, crushing and shaking, but has 12 MP, and the ability to go over 30 feet underwater. The 2.7 LCD viewing screen on the back of the camera is twice as bright as the 6000, and it has face detection software. So as long as there is a face in the picture, you are guaranteed picture perfect quality. In opinion, it is the best buy, as is costs anywhere from $240-$380, depending on the retail store you buy it from.

I want to buy a camera that takes good pictures and videos, works best underwater, and has not too many problems. I need your honest opinion on which to buy out of these 3..money is not an issue with these three cameras.
